The Sales Counsellor is responsible for guiding prospective customers, understanding their needs, presenting suitable products/services, and converting leads into sales. The role requires strong communication skills, customer handling ability, and a target-oriented mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Handle inbound and outbound calls to reach potential customers.
Counsel prospects by understanding their requirements and suggesting the right product/service.
Convert inquiries into confirmed sales through effective communication and persuasion.
Maintain a strong follow-up system to ensure lead conversion.
Provide accurate information about products, pricing, offers, and services.
Maintain daily/weekly sales reports and update CRM regularly.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships for repeat and referral business.
Participate in promotional activities, campaigns, and events when required.
Coordinate with internal teams (Marketing, Operations, etc.) for smooth customer onboarding.
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Skills & Qualifications
Graduate / Diploma (preferred).
0-3 years of experience in sales, counselling, telecalling, or customer service.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to understand customer needs and offer appropriate solutions.
Strong persuasion, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Target-driven attitude with the ability to work under pressure.
Basic computer knowledge and experience with CRM tools (preferred).
