Role Overview
The Sales Coordinator will support the sales team in achieving targets by handling customer communication, order processing, coordination with internal departments, and maintaining accurate sales records.
Key Responsibilities
Handle incoming inquiries and prepare quotations as per customer requirements.
Process sales orders and ensure timely order execution.
Coordinate between sales team, production, dispatch, and accounts departments.
Maintain customer database, follow-up for orders and payments.
Prepare daily / weekly / monthly sales reports & sales MIS.
Respond to customer emails and follow up on their requirements.
Support field sales executives by providing product details, samples, pricing, and status updates.
Track dispatch schedules and share tracking updates with customers.
Maintain documentation related to sales, invoices, POs, delivery challans, etc.
Assist in preparing tenders / vendor registrations (if required).
Required Skills & Qualifications
Graduate / MBA preferred.
1-3 years of experience as Sales Coordinator (manufacturing industry preferred).
Strong knowledge of MS Excel, email writing, and documentation.
Excellent communication and customer handling skills.
Ability to multitask and work under deadlines.
Knowledge of ERP/SAP will be an added advantage.
