The Sales Coordinator supports the sales team by managing sales-related administrative tasks, coordinating with internal departments, maintaining sales records, and ensuring smooth communication between sales representatives and clients. The role plays a key part in improving sales efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate with the sales team to manage daily sales operations and activities
Prepare and maintain sales reports, MIS, and performance data
Handle client inquiries, follow-ups, and coordination with sales executives
Assist in preparing proposals, quotations, and sales documentation
Maintain accurate records of leads, clients, and sales activities in CRM
Coordinate with accounts, operations, and other departments for order processing
Track sales targets, achievements, and pending tasks
Schedule meetings, calls, and follow-ups for the sales team
Support onboarding of new sales team members
Ensure timely communication between internal teams and clients
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
Proven experience as a Sales Coordinator or similar role (preferred)
Strong communication and coordination skills
Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and CRM tools
Good organizational and multitasking abilities
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Preferred Skills:
Experience in handling MIS and sales reporting
Basic understanding of sales processes and lead management
Problem-solving and analytical skills
Experience:
1-3 years of experience in sales coordination or sales support
