The Sales Coordinator supports the sales team by managing sales documentation, coordinating with internal departments, tracking orders, and ensuring smooth communication between clients and the sales team. The role focuses on improving sales efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate sales activities and support the sales team with daily operations
Prepare and maintain sales reports, MIS, quotations, invoices, and proposals
Handle customer inquiries, follow-ups, and order status updates
Coordinate with production, logistics, finance, and dispatch teams for timely order fulfillment
Maintain accurate customer and sales records in CRM or ERP systems
Track sales targets, achievements, and pending orders
Assist in preparing presentations, contracts, and sales-related documentation
Schedule meetings, client visits, and follow-up calls for the sales team
Ensure compliance with company policies and sales procedures
Skills & Competencies
Strong communication and coordination skills
Good organizational and time-management abilities
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Basic knowledge of CRM/ERP systems
Customer-focused approach
Ability to multitask and work under deadlines
Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field
Experience
1-3 years of experience in sales coordination, sales support, or a similar role
Experience in handling documentation and customer coordination is preferred
