The Sales Coordinator supports the Sales & Marketing team in driving revenue by handling administrative tasks, assisting with sales activities, coordinating client communications, preparing proposals, and ensuring smooth execution of sales processes. This role acts as a crucial link between clients, the sales team, and hotel operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales Support & Administration
Prepare sales proposals, contracts, banquet event orders (BEOs), and corporate rate agreements.
Maintain and update client databases, sales reports, and revenue tracking systems .
Assist with preparing weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales performance reports.
Coordinate sales appointments, site inspections, and client meetings.
Handle internal communication between departments to ensure client requirements are met.
Client Relations
Respond to sales inquiries through email, phone, or online platforms in a timely and professional manner.
Assist the sales team in following up on leads, confirmations, and contract finalizations.
Maintain excellent customer service standards to enhance client satisfaction and loyalty.
Event & Group Coordination
Support the planning and coordination of group bookings, events, and MICE business.
Work closely with the banquets, front office, reservations, and F&B teams to ensure smooth event execution.
Track rooming lists, group blocks, and event schedules.
Marketing & Sales Activities
Assist in creating sales presentations, promotional materials, and marketing collateral.
Support digital marketing activities such as social media posts, newsletters, and campaign coordination .
Participate in hotel sales calls, trade shows, and networking events when required.
Qualifications & SkillsEducation
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
Experience
1-2 years of experience in hotel sales, reservations, or front office roles .
Fresh graduates with strong communication and organizational skills may also be considered.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Experience with hotel sales or reservation systems is an advantage.
Familiarity with CRM tools is a plus.
