Role Overview
To provide administrative and operational support to the sales team by coordinating sales activities, preparing documentation, tracking orders, ensuring smooth communication between customers and internal departments, and supporting timely order execution and revenue realization.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Coordination & Support
Support sales team in day-to-day coordination and administrative activities.
Prepare and process enquiries, quotations, tenders, and sales orders as per customer requirements.
Maintain sales records, enquiry status, and order tracking reports.
2. Customer Coordination
Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams for order-related communication.
Respond to customer queries regarding order status, delivery schedules, and documentation.
Ensure accurate and timely communication with customers to maintain satisfaction.
3. Order Processing & Execution
Coordinate with Production, Planning, Quality, Dispatch, and Logistics teams to ensure timely execution of sales orders.
Track order progress, delivery timelines, and dispatch details.
Ensure compliance with commercial and contractual terms.
4. Documentation & MIS
Maintain proper documentation for quotations, purchase orders, contracts, and invoices.
Prepare periodic MIS reports on enquiries, orders, sales performance, and pending follow-ups.
Ensure data accuracy in Excel-based systems.
5. Payment & Commercial Follow-up
Coordinate with the finance team for invoicing and payment follow-ups.
Track outstanding receivables and support resolution of billing-related issues.
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong coordination and organizational skills
Good verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and ERP/CRM systems
Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks
Basic understanding of sales processes and commercial documentation
Qualification & Experience
Graduate in
Commerce / Business Administration / Marketing / Engineering
or equivalent
1-3 years
of experience in sales coordination, sales support, or commercial operations
Experience in
EPC, manufacturing, infrastructure, power, or fabrication industry
preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
