Role Summary

The

Sales Coordinator

will be the central administrative and operational support for the sales team, focusing on the timely and accurate execution of sales processes within the

Pipeline/Manufacturing Industry

based in Pune. This role is crucial for ensuring seamless communication between the sales team, clients, and internal departments like Production, Logistics, and Finance, which is vital for the successful delivery of technical products like pipes, fittings, and related components.

Key Responsibilities

Order & Documentation Management:

Handle the processing of all

sales orders (SOs)

with accuracy, ensuring correct pricing, product codes, and specifications. Create and maintain accurate sales orders, quotations, and invoices using the

ERP system

and other relevant tools. Maintain an organized and accurate filing system (hard copy and digital) for all sales-related documents, contracts, and proposals.

Customer & Sales Support:

Serve as the

primary in-house contact

for customer inquiries regarding product availability, order status, pricing, and dispatch details. Communicate regularly with clients via phone and email to provide updates and ensure customer satisfaction. Prepare and manage

quotations

and

proposals

, interpreting customer Request for Quotations (RFQs), drawings, and technical specifications, especially for products like steel pipes and tubes.

Internal Coordination & Logistics:

Collaborate closely with

Production/Factory

,

Logistics

, and

Dispatch

teams to ensure the timely and accurate fulfillment and delivery of customer orders. Liaise with the

Finance/Accounts

team for billing, credit control, and payment follow-up. Monitor and track inventory levels in coordination with the warehouse team to check product availability.

Reporting & Data Management:

Maintain and update the customer database/CRM system, ensuring all sales activities and customer interactions are accurately recorded. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly

MIS (Management Information System) reports

and dashboards on sales performance, pending orders, and collections for management review. Shutterstock
Assist the field sales team by tracking sales progress and providing necessary follow-up support.
Qualifications & Skills

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.

Experience:

2-5 years

of experience in in-house/inside sales or sales coordination, preferably within the

Manufacturing, Industrial, or Pipeline/Components industry

.

Technical Proficiency:

Hands-on experience with

ERP systems

for order processing and invoicing. Proficiency in

MS Office Suite

, especially advanced skills in

MS Excel

for data management and reporting. Familiarity with

CRM software

(e.g., Salesforce, Zoho, HubSpot) is a plus.

Core Skills:

Excellent

written and verbal communication skills

in English; proficiency in Marathi/Hindi is advantageous for the Pune location. Strong

organizational skills

and acute

attention to detail

to ensure accuracy in documentation and order processing.

Customer-oriented

approach with the ability to handle complaints and queries professionally. Proven ability to

multitask

and prioritize in a fast-paced industrial sales environment.

Pay: ₹11,777.99 - ₹31,830.51 per month
