The sales coordinator supports the sales team by managing orders, coordinating with production and logistics, maintaining customer and distributor relationships, and ensuring smooth execution of sales operations. The role is critical in bridging sales, manufacturing, and dispatch to ensure timely delivery and high customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Support & Coordination
Assist the sales team in processing orders, quotations, and proforma invoices
Coordinate with production planning to confirm availability, lead times, and schedules
Track sales orders from booking to dispatch and delivery
Order Management & Documentation
Prepare and manage sales documents including order confirmations, invoices, delivery notes, and credit notes
Ensure accuracy of pricing, discounts, taxes, and payment terms
Maintain organized sales records and customer databases
Logistics & Dispatch Coordination
Coordinate with the logistics and warehouse teams for timely dispatch of tiles
Monitor shipment status and resolve delivery issues
Sales Reporting & MIS
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports
Track targets, achievements, and outstanding orders
Support management with data analysis and forecast
Experience
2-5 years of experience in a sales coordination or sales support role.
