Role Objective
To drive sales growth and expand business opportunities in South India for the Sheets & Strips division through strategic business development, customer relationship management, market intelligence, and coordination with internal departments.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Customer Management
Serve as the
first point of contact
for incoming sales inquiries (phone, email, online).
Prepare, submit, and follow up on
quotations, costings, and technical offers
in coordination with the external sales team.
Process customer orders
accurately and within specified timelines
, ensuring adherence to internal procedures.
Develop a
comprehensive understanding of product range, grades, applications, and industry requirements
.
Maintain long-term relationships with
existing customers
and ensure high customer satisfaction.
Ensure
timely collection of outstanding payments
while sustaining a professional client relationship.
Business Development - South India
Identify and develop
new business opportunities
in target sectors:
automotive, fabrication, electrical, packaging, appliance manufacturing, electronics, defence, etc.
Conduct
market research, competitor analysis, pricing trends, and demand mapping
for growth planning.
Acquire
new clients, conduct technical discussions
, and support commercial negotiations.
Develop potential
dealer/distributor networks
across major industrial clusters.
Coordinate and participate in
trade exhibitions, client visits, technical presentations, and product demonstrations
.
Internal Coordination
Coordinate with
Production, Logistics, Planning & Technical teams
to meet customer specifications.
Track
stock availability, lead times, dispatch schedules, and delivery commitments
