Job Responsibilities:
1. Sales Lead Follow-up and Management
Take ownership of the full sales funnel by tracking, updating, and following up on all prospective leads, ensuring no lead is ever missed or dropped.
Contact customers directly (phone, email, WhatsApp, etc.) to provide information, nudge the lead forward, and gather feedback.
Maintain an always up-to-date record and status of every lead, and highlight stuck or slow-moving leads for escalation.
Coordinate and set up visits for field sales executives, ensuring regular customer visits and proper documentation of outcomes.
Proactively pursue every lead until conversion or documented closure
2. Customer Communication and Engagement
Act as the main point of contact for customer queries, pre-sales support, and post-visit follow-ups.
Build rapport with potential clients by providing timely responses, product details, and solutions.
3. Order and Process Coordination
Ensure that all confirmed leads/orders are entered into the system immediately and accurately.
Work closely with field and office teams to make sure customer orders are processed smoothly and as per timeline.
Coordinate with customers or sales team for any documents, details, or advances required to process orders.
4. Advance and Payment Collection
Follow up rigorously with customers for any advances or deposits needed, ensuring that orders are not delayed due to pending payments.
Track all payment statuses using the company's CRM/ERP and work with Accounts/Sales for collection support.
5. Sales Funnel & File Management
Keep a digital/electronic record of all leads, their current position in the sales funnel, and related correspondence.
Ensure regular review meetings and follow-up schedules are maintained; escalate any long-pending cases.
Maintain all files-digital and hard copy (if needed)-for easy retrieval, audit, and management oversight.
6. Reporting & Escalation
Provide regular (daily/weekly/monthly) sales funnel reports, highlighting progress, challenges, and pending issues.
Escalate any issues, lost leads, or pending advances promptly to senior management.
Skills and Competencies:
Strong coordination and multi-tasking abilities with an obsession for follow-up and closure
Excellent communication-written and verbal-in English and Hindi/Assamese
Proactivity and ownership mind-set-treating each lead as a high-priority project
Attention to detail with thorough record-keeping and digital documentation skills
Strong interpersonal ability for working with both customers and internal teams
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), CRM/ERP tools, WhatsApp communications
Ability to handle pressure, push for results, and work with field/outdoor and office-based teams
