The

Business Development Manager (BDM)

is the engine of our agency's growth. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building a robust pipeline of qualified leads, and closing deals.

You aren't just selling services; you are selling solutions. You will bridge the gap between a client's business problems and our agency's creative genius. We need someone who can speak the language of C-level executives and Creative Directors alike.

Key Responsibilities



Prospecting & Pipeline Management:

Proactively identify and target potential clients through market research, cold outreach, networking, and social selling (LinkedIn Sales Navigator).

Pitch Leadership:

Lead the end-to-end pitch process. Collaborate with Strategy and Creative teams to develop winning proposals and presentation decks.

Consultative Selling:

Diagnose prospective clients' marketing challenges and prescribe the right mix of agency services (Digital, Creative, Branding) to solve them.

Networking:

Represent Crayonz Media at industry events, conferences, and networking mixers to build brand awareness and relationships.

Contract Negotiation:

Manage negotiations regarding scope, pricing, and contract terms to ensure profitability and long-term partnership success.

CRM Hygiene:

Maintain accurate records of all sales activities.

Market Intelligence:

Stay updated on advertising trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to keep our value proposition sharp.

What We Are Looking For



Experience:

2-3+ years of Business Development or Sales experience,

specifically within an Advertising, Digital Marketing, or PR agency environment.

Track Record:

A proven history of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and closing mid-to-large-scale accounts.

Industry Knowledge:

A solid understanding of the digital marketing landscape (Advertising, Branding, Social Media, Content Production) and the ability to explain complex concepts simply.

Communication:

Exceptional presentation and storytelling skills. You must be comfortable presenting to CMOs and CEOs.

Resilience:

You have thick skin, you don't fear rejection, and you know that "no" is just a step toward "yes."

Tech Savvy:

Proficiency in CRM software, Google Workspace, and Keynote/PowerPoint.
