Job Summary:



The

India Sales & Business Development Head

will be responsible for driving business growth across three key areas:

1.

Domestic Sales

for the

Hospitality Division



2.

Export Sales

for

Fresh Fruits & Vegetables



3.

Franchise Expansion & Management

for

FunShala Kindergarten



This role requires a versatile leader with a strong background in B2B sales, export operations, and franchise management, capable of managing diverse business portfolios and teams.

Key Responsibilities:A. Hospitality Division (Domestic Sales):



Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve growth and profitability targets in the Indian market.

Manage and expand relationships with hotels.

Identify new B2B clients, distributors, and institutional buyers across regions.

Supervise regional sales teams to ensure consistent performance and brand presence.

Analyze market trends and competitor activities to guide pricing and product positioning.

B. Fresh Fruits & Vegetables Export Division:



Identify and develop export markets for fresh fruits and vegetables (Middle East, Asia, Africa, etc.).

Build and manage relationships with international buyers, importers, and distributors.

Coordinate with sourcing, logistics, and quality teams to ensure product compliance and timely shipments.

Handle export documentation, customs processes, and certifications (e.g., APEDA, FSSAI, Phyto sanitary).

Participate in international trade fairs, exhibitions, and buyer-seller meets.

C. FunShala Kindergarten Franchise Management:



Develop strategies to expand the FunShala preschool and activity center network across India.

Identify and onboard qualified franchise partners through business development and marketing outreach.

Conduct franchise presentations and investor meetings.

Support franchisees in operations, training, and compliance with brand standards.

Monitor performance and ensure alignment with company guidelines and educational objectives.

D. Leadership & Coordination:



Prepare annual business plans and sales forecasts for all three verticals.

Coordinate with internal departments (Production, Operations, Finance, and Marketing) for smooth execution.

Provide regular management reports on sales performance, market trends, and business expansion.

Qualifications & Experience:



Graduate / Postgraduate in Business Administration, Marketing, or International Trade (MBA preferred).

Minimum

8-15 years

of experience in

Sales Leadership / Export Management / Franchise Development

.

Proven experience in

Hospitality Products Sales

and

Agri Export (Fresh Fruits & Vegetables)

.

Exposure to

Franchise Operations

, preferably in the education or preschool sector.

Strong understanding of B2B and B2C channels, logistics, and customer relationship management.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.

Willingness to travel extensively across India and overseas.
