Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Associate to join our team in Kolkata. The ideal candidate should have 3 to 5 years of experience in sales in FMCG Industry, a strong understanding of the local market, and be willing to work both in the field and at our office location.

Responsibilities:



1.

Develop and implement robust sales strategies to achieve and exceed General Trade sales targets in the assigned territory. Identify and onboard new distributors, wholesalers and retailers to expand distribution network. Identify business potential of retail markets in target area and lead DSMs in outlet identification and servicing of outlets and retail markets. Coverage Plan Responsible for forming the coverage plan for the area to penetrate, retail markets to cover. Achievement of Targets Responsible for driving overall secondary volume targets as per the intended product-mix Drive mind-set and procedures in team and channel-partners for outlet-wise secondary sales. Use available data and tools to facilitate this. Drive ways-of-working and processes as per secondary mind-set requirement. Conduct regular market visits to gather insights, assess competitor activities and identify growth opportunities. Manage operations to ensure on-time order collection and door-step servicing in retail. This includes planning beats and PJPs, management of distributor infrastructure, managing collections etc. Manage Retail MT - distributor Ensure adherence SKU-wise requirement of closing stock. Drive accountability for credit. Ensure availability of required infrastructure and investment. Plan for primary sales of distributors. Responsible for channel-programs, and BTL-activations, and merchandizing. Strategic calls in territory-deployment, targeting of retail markets. Drive accountability on relevant parameters in team, and ensure work-discipline. Planning and analysis beat-wise, territory-wise DSMs-wise performance and potential.

Requirements:



Bachelor's degree with relevance 4 -5 experience in Sales.

Proven experience in FMCG - Food Sales, with a focus on General Trade Channels

Strong understanding of the Kolkata Market and its dynamics.

Excellent Communication and negotiation skills.

Ability to analyse market trends and develop effective sales strategies.

Leadership and team management skills.

Additional Qualifications:



- Flexibility to work in both office settings and out in the field

- Strong understanding of the local market trends

- Valid driver's license
