As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in creating an enjoyable shopping experience for our customers while driving sales and maintaining store standards.

Duties

Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly and assisting them with their shopping needs. Demonstrate product knowledge through engaging product demos, ensuring customers are informed about features and benefits. Utilize retail math skills to assist customers with pricing inquiries and ensure accurate transactions. Handle cash register operations efficiently, including cash handling and processing transactions accurately. Maintain stock levels by organizing merchandise on shelves, restocking items as needed, and ensuring the sales floor is visually appealing. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance overall store performance. Uphold store policies regarding returns, exchanges, and customer complaints in a professional manner.

Requirements

Previous experience in retail sales is preferred but not mandatory; a willingness to learn is essential. Strong phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone when necessary. Familiarity with grocery store operations is a plus. Ability to perform basic retail math calculations accurately. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers. A proactive approach to selling and upselling products to enhance customer satisfaction. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by the store schedule.
