Job Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated
Sales Associate
to join our dynamic team at Deccan Plast Industries , a leading manufacturer of high-quality plastic moulded furniture. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for driving sales, establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships, and promoting our innovative furniture solutions to both new and existing customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Generation
: Actively seek out and generate new sales opportunities through various channels (in-person, phone, email, and social media).
Customer Relationship Management
: Build and maintain long-lasting relationships with customers, ensuring their satisfaction and repeat business.
Product Knowledge
: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of our range of plastic moulded furniture products to effectively present and sell them to customers.
Client Consultation
: Provide expert advice to clients on selecting the best furniture solutions for their needs, whether for residential, commercial, or outdoor use.
Market Research
: Stay informed about market trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences to identify new opportunities for growth.
Order Management
: Process orders and ensure timely delivery of products to customers. Follow up on orders and resolve any issues or concerns.
Sales Reporting
: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market insights in CRM systems.
Collaboration
: Work closely with the marketing and production teams to ensure products meet customer expectations and align with market demands.
Product Demonstrations
: Organize and conduct product demonstrations, either in-store or at trade shows, to showcase the benefits and features of the furniture line.
Target Achievement
: Meet or exceed individual sales targets and contribute to the overall sales goals of the company.
Qualifications:
Experience
: Previous experience in sales or retail, preferably in the furniture or home goods industry. Experience in selling plastic moulded furniture is a plus.
Communication
: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with diverse customers.
Customer-Centric
: A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Product Knowledge
: Ability to quickly learn and demonstrate product features, benefits, and advantages of plastic moulded furniture.
Sales Skills
: Strong negotiation and closing skills. Ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
Tech-Savvy
: Comfortable using CRM systems and sales tools, as well as MS Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.).
Team Player
: Ability to collaborate with team members, while also being able to work independently.
Flexibility
: Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and occasional extended hours when needed.
