YoHo Designs is seeking a dynamic and motivated Design Sales Associate to join our team. As a Design Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service while driving sales and promoting our brand's products and services. Responsibilities:
1. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, understanding their needs, and offering personalized design solutions and product recommendations.
2. Sales Generation: Proactively engage with customers to drive sales and meet or exceed monthly sales targets. Utilise effective sales techniques, such as upselling and cross-selling, to maximise revenue opportunities.
3. Product Knowledge: Develop a comprehensive understanding of our products, including their features, benefits, and pricing. Stay informed about industry trends, design styles, and competitor offerings to effectively communicate the value of our products to customers.
4. Design Consultation: Assist customers with design consultations, including space planning, colour coordination, and product selection. Collaborate with customers to create customised design solutions that meet their aesthetic preferences and functional needs.
5. Order Processing: Process customer orders accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale system. Coordinate with other departments, such as logistics and warehouse, to ensure timely delivery of products to customers.
6. Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong customer relationships to foster loyalty and repeat business. Follow up with customers after purchases to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or issues.
7 . Merchandising: Assist with merchandising tasks, such as product displays, signage placement, and showroom organisation, to create an inviting and visually appealing shopping environment.
8. Administrative Tasks: Perform various administrative tasks, including inventory management, sales reporting, and documentation of customer interactions, to support overall operations.
9. Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with colleagues across departments, such as design consultants, sales associates, and management, to achieve collective goals and deliver a seamless customer experience.
10. Continuous Learning: Stay informed about industry developments, product updates, and sales techniques through training sessions, workshops, and self-study to enhance knowledge and skills.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in retail sales, preferably within the interior design or home furnishings industry.
Strong sales acumen with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage customers and build rapport.
Passion for interior design and a keen eye for aesthetics.
Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented with strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems and basic computer applications.
Flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings, as needed.
Bachelor's degree in interior design, marketing, business, or a related field (preferred).
Minimum 2 years of experience into Sales and Design background
