We are seeking a dynamic and personable Sales Associate to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, promoting products, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist with their shopping needs Operate POS systems efficiently for sales transactions and cash handling Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits Upsell products and accessories to maximize sales opportunities Maintain attractive merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked Assist with inventory management, including stocking and organizing merchandise Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues Perform cashier duties with accuracy and attention to detail Support supervising staff in managing daily store operations when needed Use effective phone etiquette when communicating with customers or vendors

Requirements

Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery or similar environments Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, and retail math calculations Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities (Spanish/English) a plus Experience in product demos, upselling, and merchandising techniques Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor Basic math skills for balancing registers and handling transactions Supervising experience is advantageous but not mandatory Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
