As a Hotel Sales Associate, you will be an integral part of our sales and marketing team, responsible for promoting the hotel's accommodations, services, and event spaces to potential clients and guests. Your primary goal is to drive revenue growth, build strong, long-lasting client relationships, and ensure a seamless and unforgettable experience for all guests. This role requires a blend of sales expertise, exceptional customer service skills, and a deep understanding of the hospitality industry.
Key Responsibilities & Duties :
Client Prospecting and Relationship Management:
Identify and contact potential clients (corporate accounts, travel agencies, event planners, and individual guests) to solicit new business and maintain existing relationships.
Sales and Negotiation:
Conduct sales presentations, prepare customized proposals and contracts, negotiate rates and terms, and ultimately close deals to achieve or exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
Inquiry Management:
Act as a primary point of contact for client inquiries via phone, email, and in-person visits, providing accurate information about hotel facilities, services, and current promotions.
Event Coordination Support:
Assist with the coordination of logistics for group bookings and events, including room requirements, catering, and audiovisual equipment, ensuring client satisfaction and smooth execution.
Market Analysis and Reporting:
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new business opportunities and industry trends. Prepare and submit timely sales reports and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
Administrative Support:
Provide administrative assistance to the sales team, including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, maintaining client databases and records using CRM software, and managing sales collateral inventory.
Guest Experience Enhancement:
Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure service delivery is seamless and to enhance the overall guest experience, seeking opportunities to upsell and cross-sell hotel services.
Qualifications & Skills :
Education:
MBA in Marketing (Preferable)
Experience:
Proven work experience as a sales associate, sales representative, or similar role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and active listening skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse clients.
Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented with excellent time management skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Professional demeanor and appearance.
Availability:
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed by the business.
