1. Role Overview



The Sales Associate will be responsible for supporting the sales operations of Trios The Best from the Avinashi unit. This role focuses on generating leads, managing customer relationships, coordinating with production for order fulfilment, and ensuring strong after-sales service. The associate will play a key role in expanding market reach for Trios' plastic cage mats and other products.

2. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Sales & Customer Acquisition



Identify new customers, poultry farms, distributors, and dealers within the assigned region. Conduct regular follow-ups with potential and existing customers to convert inquiries into orders. Assist in driving monthly and quarterly sales targets for the Avinashi region. Maintain detailed records of leads, visits, calls, and conversion rates.

B. Order Management



Coordinate with the Avinashi production team (including Mr. Brett & team) to check stock availability, production timelines, and dispatch readiness. Prepare order sheets, confirm customer specifications, and ensure accurate invoicing. Track pending orders and ensure timely delivery to customers.

C. Customer Relationship & Support



Maintain strong relationships with poultry farmers, distributors, and existing clients. Ensure prompt response to customer queries, complaints, and product-related information. Provide after-sales support including issue resolution and feedback collection.

D. Market Research & Competitor Tracking



Monitor competitor pricing, new products, and market movements in the poultry equipment sector. Identify emerging opportunities or threats in the local markets. Provide weekly and monthly updates to management with insights and observations.

E. Reporting & Documentation



Submit daily sales reports, visit reports, and call logs to the Sales GM. Maintain updated records of customer interactions, quotations, and sales performance. Support management in preparing presentations, sales forecasts, and MIS reports.

F. Coordination with Head Office



Work closely with Trios Sales GM (Sreekumar / Prasenjith depending on region) for pricing, dispatch planning, and approvals. Ensure proper communication between Avinashi unit and main office regarding sales movements and inventory.

3. Qualifications & Skills Required



Bachelor's degree in any discipline (MBA/Marketing preferred but not mandatory). 1-3 years of experience in field sales, preferably in manufacturing, poultry industry, or industrial products. Strong communication skills in Tamil & English (Malayalam added advantage). Strong negotiation skills and a customer-first approach. Ability to travel frequently within assigned regions. Basic computer skills (MS Office, WhatsApp, email communication).

4. Personal Attributes



Energetic and self-motivated with a strong sales mindset. Good presentation and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle pressure and meet sales targets. Honest, disciplined, and willing to take ownership of results.

5. Compensation



As per company norms.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?35,000.00 per month
