The Sales Assistant will support the sales team in day-to-day operations, including managing client communication, preparing quotations, tracking orders, and maintaining customer records. The role requires strong organizational skills, communication ability, and a customer-focused mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the sales team in handling customer inquiries via phone, email, or in person
Prepare and send
quotations, proforma invoices
, and product datasheets
Coordinate with internal departments (accounts, logistics, etc.) to ensure order processing and timely dispatch
Maintain and update
customer database, enquiry logs, and follow-up records
Support in
preparing sales reports
, tracking targets, and monitoring sales performance
Respond to basic technical queries by coordinating with the product team
Follow up with clients for payments, order confirmation, and feedback
Participate in exhibitions, trade shows, and marketing campaigns if required
Maintain a professional and courteous relationship with all clients
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
1-3 years of experience in sales support or customer service (preferably in industrial or B2B segment)
Proficiency in
MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Knowledge of CRM tools and ERP software is a plus
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Good interpersonal skills and ability to multitask
Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
