Job Description

Job Purpose

To assist the Sales Manager in leading, managing, and motivating the sales team; to drive sales growth, ensure targets are met or exceeded; to bridge between strategy and operational execution; and to ensure that day-to-day sales operations are smooth and efficient.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

Team Leadership & Coaching

o Assist in supervising and guiding a team of sales representatives.

Provide mentoring, coaching, and performance feedback to the team. Conduct regular training sessions on product knowledge, sales techniques, objection handling, etc. Fill in for the Sales Manager in their absence for team oversight.

Sales Strategy & Planning

o Help develop and implement sales strategies aligned with business goals.

Contribute to setting sales targets, quotas, and incentives for team. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

o Track and analyze sales KPIs, metrics, and dashboards.

Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management. Identify underperforming areas and propose corrective actions.

Operations & Administration

o Oversee daily operations such as scheduling, territory assignments, customer allocations.

Ensure that the sales team adheres to company policies, processes, and compliance requirements. Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and orientation of new sales staff. Coordinate with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, finance) for promotions, launches, and offers.

Customer & Key Accounts

o Handle escalated customer complaints, issues, or complex negotiations.

Maintain relationships with key clients / accounts. Participate in high-value sales meetings or pitches when needed.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
