The Sales Executive will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, maintaining strong client relationships, and achieving sales targets for the company's event management services. This role involves identifying potential clients, presenting customized event solutions, negotiating contracts, and ensuring seamless client experience from initial contact to event execution.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Development & Lead Generation
Identify and research potential clients in corporate, social, and government sectors.
Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline to meet monthly and quarterly targets.
Generate leads through networking, cold calling, email campaigns, and industry events.
2. Client Relationship Management
Build and nurture long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients.
Understand client needs and propose event concepts and solutions aligned with objectives and budgets.
Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business.
3. Sales & Negotiation
Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations and proposals.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms with clients.
Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to the overall business growth.
4. Coordination with Internal Teams
Collaborate with the creative, production, and operations teams to ensure accurate proposal development and flawless event execution.
Communicate client expectations clearly to internal departments.
Provide post-event feedback and support for billing and collections.
5. Market Research & Reporting
Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and emerging event technologies.
Submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to management.
Contribute ideas for marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent negotiation and presentation abilities
Proven sales and client management experience (preferably in event management, hospitality, or media industries)
Target-driven and self-motivated
Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
Minimum 2-4 years of experience in sales, preferably in events, hospitality, or advertising
Existing industry network and client base will be an added advantage
