JOB DESCRIPTION: SALES ASSISTANTDepartment: SalesReports To: Account Manager / Team Leader and Director of Sales & Strategy or aboveJob Grade: 1 Location: New Delhi - IndiaSUMMARY: The Sales Assistant is responsible for providing day-to-day organization and operational support for Sales Executives and other individuals in the Sales department.JOB DUTIES: 1. ORGANIZATION GOALS 1.1 Supports various sales colleagues to achieve overall organization goals, sales growth, on-time delivery and products to customers, fast response time to customer requests, and providing the highest level of customer service.2. SALES / CUSTOMER SERVICE 2.1 Enters customer Request for Quotes into Pentagon.2.2 Enters sales quotations on behalf of Sales Executives or others.2.3 Processes customer orders by entering them as Sales Orders in Pentagon.2.4 Coordinates delivery of merchandise and services to ensure on-time delivery.2.5 Maintains quality service by enforcing organization standards.2.6 Provides customers with requested information, such as paperwork, images, updates on delivery, etc.3. PURCHASING 3.1 Establishes and maintains relationships with vendors.3.2 Sources for non-stock items that customers request through ILS to meet their requirements and analyzes market trends for pricing under the direction of their trainer and/or supervisor.3.3 Calls and/or emails vendors or checks Manufacturer or OEM websites to inquire about part pricing and availability.3.4 Negotiates pricing with vendors to maximize marginal profit.3.5 Enters and processes Purchase Orders in Pentagon.ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
