Visit aerospace and defence clients regularly to understand technical and operational requirements.
Analyse RFQs, prepare technical-commercial quotations, and drive RFQ conversions into orders.
Conduct site assessments, collect application data, and recommend suitable tools, assemblies, or Industry 4.0 solutions.
Deliver product presentations, demos, and application support to customers.
Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and technical scope with buyers and technical teams.
Coordinate with internal engineering, OEM partners, and supply chain for proposal accuracy and order fulfilment.
Track opportunities, maintain quotation logs, and prepare weekly/monthly sales reports.
Support installation, commissioning, and post-sales technical queries when required.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical, or related engineering discipline.
1-2 years of experience in sales/application engineering; aerospace and defence exposure preferred.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, tooling, or industrial/automation systems.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to read drawings/specifications and prepare accurate proposals.
High ownership, customer-oriented mindset, and willingness to travel.
