The Retail Operations Manager will be responsible for driving store performance by setting sales targets, analyzing historical data, managing store teams, and ensuring smooth day-to-day retail operations. The role includes team leadership, grievance handling, and continuous improvement of operational efficiency across the retail store(s).
Key Responsibilities:
Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for retail stores.
Analyze and verify targets using previous years' sales data and performance trends.
Monitor store performance against targets and take corrective actions when required.
Lead, supervise, and motivate store teams to achieve business objectives.
Handle employee grievances and ensure a positive and productive work environment.
Coordinate with store staff to ensure operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
Prepare performance reports and present insights to management.
Implement company policies, procedures, and retail best practices.
Support training and development initiatives for store staff.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong understanding of retail operations and sales planning.
Ability to analyze sales data and make data-driven decisions.
Excellent team management and leadership skills.
Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
Experience in handling employee grievances and conflict resolution.
Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field (preferred).
3-6 years of experience in retail operations or sales management.
Prior experience in target setting, team handling, and store operations is essential.
