Sales And Marketing Manager (steel And Iron)

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and strategic sales professional to drive business growth in the

steel and iron product segment

across assigned territories. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of industrial and infrastructure markets, excellent client relationship management skills, and a proven track record in sales of structural steel, TMT bars, coils, sheets, and related products.

Key Responsibilities:



Develop and manage a portfolio of key clients across regions--contractors, builders, fabricators, EPC companies, and infrastructure firms Identify new business opportunities in

project-based sales and institutional buyers

Conduct in-depth product presentations and technical discussions as per client requirements Monitor tenders and government projects for relevant product requirements Manage the entire sales cycle--from enquiry, proposal, negotiation to order closure Coordinate closely with logistics, operations, and finance teams to ensure timely delivery and smooth order execution Analyze market trends, pricing, competition, and provide strategic input for business planning Maintain updated sales pipeline and submit periodic MIS reports to the management Travel to different regions for business development, trade events, and client meetings

Qualifications & Skills:



Bachelor's degree in

Commerce, Business, Engineering, or a relevant field

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the

sales of steel, iron, or industrial building materials

Strong understanding of

MS angles, channels, beams, flats, coils, sheets, and TMT bars

Proven ability to handle high-value clients and complex negotiations Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools Willingness to travel extensively (domestically or regionally)

Preferred Background:



Experience working with

large steel manufacturers, traders, or infrastructure supply chains

Exposure to institutional and government supply channels Existing client base in construction, fabrication, or infrastructure sectors is a plus

Pay: ?30,000.00 - ?80,000.00 per month
