Key Responsibilities:

Developing and executing sales plans:

This includes setting sales goals, developing strategies to achieve those goals, and managing the sales pipeline.

Managing and motivating the sales team:

This involves hiring, training, coaching, and motivating sales representatives to achieve their targets.

Building and maintaining strong customer relationships:

This includes understanding customer needs, building rapport, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Developing new business:

This involves prospecting for new customers, identifying and developing new markets, and securing new business opportunities.

Collaborating with other departments:

This includes working with marketing, engineering, and production teams to ensure that sales efforts are aligned with overall business goals.

Analyzing sales data and providing reports:

This involves monitoring sales performance, identifying trends, and providing insights to improve sales efforts.

Staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices:

This includes staying informed about competitor activities, new technologies, and changes in the market.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Leadership and management skills:

Strong ability to lead, motivate, and manage a sales team.

Sales and negotiation skills:

Proven ability to close deals and negotiate contracts.

Communication and interpersonal skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with customers and team members.

Analytical skills:

Ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and develop effective strategies.

Business acumen:

Understanding of the components manufacturing industry and the sales process.

Experience in a sales management role:

Previous experience in a sales management position, preferably within the manufacturing industry.

Bachelor's degree in a related field:

A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is often required.
