Job Summary:

The Sales and Marketing Manager will be responsible for planning, developing, and executing strategies to drive sales growth and market expansion for agricultural products such as seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, or farm equipment. The role involves managing distribution networks, leading the sales team, and strengthening relationships with dealers, distributors, and farmers to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement regional and national sales strategies to achieve targets. Identify and appoint new distributors, dealers, and retailers in key territories. Plan and execute marketing campaigns, farmer meetings, and field demonstrations. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities. Collaborate with the R&D and production teams to forecast demand and plan product availability. Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and prepare regular reports for management. Manage product pricing, branding, and promotional activities. Lead, train, and motivate the sales team to achieve performance goals. Ensure compliance with company policies and agricultural regulations. Maintain strong relationships with clients, farmers, and industry stakeholders.

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor's Degree (mandatory)

in Agriculture / Agribusiness / Agricultural Science / Horticulture / Marketing / Business Administration.

Preferred Qualification:

MBA or PGDM in Agri-Business Management, Rural Management, or Marketing. Additional certification in Sales, Distribution, or Digital Marketing is an advantage.

Experience:

Minimum

5-10 years

of experience in sales and marketing within the agriculture sector. Experience in handling products such as seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, or agri-machinery preferred.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
