Position -Sales and Marketing Manager (Alcohol Markets)

A sales manager is responsible for leading and motivating a team of salespeople to achieve sales targets and revenue growth within the beer market. This role involves developing and executing sales strategies, managing client relationships, analyzing market trends, and reporting on sales performance. They also play a key role in training, motivating, and mentoring their sales team to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy & Planning:
Developing and implementing sales strategies:
Creating plans to achieve sales targets, including identifying target markets, customer segments, and effective sales approaches.
Tracking sales performance, identifying trends, and using data to inform decision-making and improve sales strategies.
2.Forecasting sales:
Predicting future sales based on market trends, historical data, and sales team performance.
3.Setting sales targets:
Establishing clear, achievable goals for the sales team, aligned with overall business objectives.
4.Delegating tasks and responsibilities:
Assigning tasks to team members based on their strengths and the needs of the business.
5.Customer Relationship Management:
Building and maintaining relationships with key clients:
Nurturing strong relationships with important customers to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Resolving customer issues promptly and effectively to maintain positive relationships.
Negotiating contracts and deals
Working with customers to finalize sales agreements and ensure mutually beneficial outcomes.
6. Market Analysis & Reporting:
Monitoring market trends and competitor activities:
Conducting market research:
Gathering information about customer preferences, market opportunities, and potential new markets.
Preparing and presenting sales reports:
Communicating sales performance, market analysis, and other relevant information to management.
Understanding customer demographics and market trends:
Analyzing customer data to identify potential opportunities and tailor sales strategies.
7. Lead sales team by example
8. Visit Institutional places like 5 Star category hotels, Bars, Pubs and Lounges
9. Reporting to Head office on a regular basis
10. Promoting all of our brands for Brand visibility
Key Skills & Qualifications:
Strong sales and leadership skills: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a sales team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: Ability to build relationships with clients and communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Analytical and problem-solving skills: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop effective solutions.
Knowledge of the brewing industry and the alcohol market: Understanding of the industry landscape, products, and customer required.
Proficiency in sales software: Experience using tools to manage sales processes and customer relationships.
