Job Summary/Brief



We are seeking an energetic, resilient, and highly persuasive Marketing & Field Outreach Intern to drive

brand visibility and customer acquisition

through direct, door-to-door canvassing in designated local territories. This role is crucial for generating quality leads and gathering firsthand market feedback. The ideal candidate thrives on personal interaction and is eager to develop strong interpersonal and selling skills in a real-world setting.

Key Responsibilities



The Intern will be responsible for a combination of field-based and administrative duties:

1. Direct Customer Engagement & Lead Generation



Execute Daily Canvassing:

Go door-to-door within assigned residential or business territories to promote the company's products/services.

Deliver Compelling Pitches:

Present the company's value proposition clearly and persuasively, using approved scripts and marketing materials.

Qualify Leads:

Identify and qualify potential customers (leads) based on defined criteria (e.g., need, interest, budget).

Schedule Follow-ups:

Book appointments or schedule further consultations for the Senior Sales/Marketing team.

Distribute Materials:

Hand out flyers, brochures, and informational packets to potential customers.

2. Campaign Tracking & Reporting



Maintain Activity Logs:

Accurately track and report daily activities, including the number of doors knocked, successful pitches, and leads generated.

Utilize CRM Tools:

Input prospect data and update Customer Relationship Management (CRM) or spreadsheet systems daily to ensure data integrity.

Provide Field Feedback:

Gather and communicate customer feedback, common objections, and local market intelligence to help refine marketing strategy and messaging.

3. Preparation & Training



Master Product Knowledge:

Achieve and maintain an in-depth understanding of all products, services, and competitor offerings.

Participate in Role-Playing:

Engage in training sessions and role-play scenarios to refine communication skills and objection handling techniques.

Requirements and QualificationsEducation/Experience



Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/certificate in

Marketing, Sales, Business, Communications

, or a related field. Prior experience in roles requiring high levels of face-to-face communication (e.g., retail, customer service, fundraising) is a plus.

Must be able to walk/stand for extended periods

in various weather conditions.
