The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing new client relationships, managing existing accounts, promoting products, and supporting overall sales and marketing initiatives. This role requires strong communication skills, market knowledge, and a proactive approach to business development.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with clients in the steel and chemical trading markets
Promote and sell steel products and chemical materials to industrial, manufacturing, and commercial customers
Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and emerging market trends
Prepare sales quotations, negotiate pricing, and close deals in coordination with management
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market feedback
Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and finance teams to ensure timely order fulfillment
Support marketing activities including product promotions, presentations, and client meetings
Monitor competitor activities and provide insights to improve sales strategies
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field
2-3 years of experience in (B2B)sales, marketing, or trading (experience in steel or chemical trading is preferred)
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of steel products, chemical materials, or industrial markets is an advantage
Ability to work independently and meet sales targets
Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and business development
