Job Description

Sales and billing staff

Greet customers and assist with product selection

Provide product information and offer suggestions to promote sales

Operate billing software or POS (Point of Sale) system accurately

Handle cash, card, UPI, and other forms of payment

Generate and print bills, manage receipts, and ensure proper documentation

Maintain cleanliness and organization of billing counter and nearby areas

Monitor stock levels at the counter and inform supervisors when running low

Address customer queries, returns, or complaints professionally

Support restocking and merchandising during low customer flow

Follow supermarket policies and maintain hygiene standards
