Role: Sales Analyst - Planning
Purpose:
To ensure efficient forecasting, inventory control, production planning, and cross-functional coordination to support smooth operations and timely product availability while maintaining cost efficiency.
Experience: 2-4 years in operations, planning, or supply chain (Consumable manufacturing / batch processing preferred)
Age: 25-28 years
Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering / Commerce / Business Administration / Management
Reporting To: Lead Business Analyst
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Planning & CoordinationPrepare, update, and monitor sales forecasts
Raise and follow up on purchase indents; track pending POs
Coordinate with sales, production, and stores to streamline daily operations
Prepare monthly and 4-month rolling production plans
Inventory Management:
Maintain FG inventory at optimum levels
Conduct periodic stock checks and ensure 100% accurate SKU availability
Minimize Muda activities and control premium freight within defined limits
Analysis & ReportingAnalyze forecast vs actual variances
Track sales trends across business verticals
Prepare operational dashboards and present status to management
Market Intelligence & Cost EfficiencyCollect and share industry insights to support decision-making
Drive cost-reduction initiatives with cross-functional teams
