The Sales Account Manager is responsible for managing existing client accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, building strong relationships, and driving revenue growth through strategic account management and solution-based selling.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key client accounts.
Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and prospective clients.
Achieve assigned sales targets (top-line and bottom-line revenue goals).
Present and promote company products or services to clients.
Prepare sales quotations, proposals, and presentations tailored to customer needs.
Coordinate with internal teams (pre-sales, marketing, operations, and finance) for smooth order execution.
Monitor account performance, ensure timely renewals, and manage upsell or cross-sell opportunities.
Handle client issues promptly to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline in CRM tools.
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and client feedback to improve sales strategy.
