Sales Officer (Entry Level)

Job Purpose:

To support sales and business development activities by identifying potential customers, promoting the company's industrial valves and solutions, and assisting the sales team in achieving revenue and growth targets. (In office )

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and approach potential clients in industries such as oil & gas, water treatment, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and manufacturing. Assist in generating leads, making introductory calls, and scheduling client meetings. Understand customer requirements and provide appropriate product information and technical details (training will be provided). Support the preparation of quotations, proposals, and tender documentation. Maintain and update the customer database and sales records. Coordinate with internal teams (production, stores, logistics) for timely order execution and dispatch. Collect market intelligence on competitors, pricing, and new opportunities. Provide after-sales support and assist in resolving basic customer queries.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Good communication and interpersonal skills. Eagerness to learn about industrial products and sales processes. Basic understanding of science or engineering concepts (training provided). Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to travel for client visits when required.

Qualifications:

Education:

B.Sc. (Science) - Physics, Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, or equivalent. Freshers or up to 1 year of experience in sales or technical support preferred.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

Number of leads generated and qualified. Support in achieving monthly/quarterly sales targets. Customer satisfaction and feedback. Timely reporting and documentation.
