Key Responsibilities Food Preparation & Execution
Prepare a variety of
fresh salads, grain bowls, and cold dishes
as per defined recipes
Handle
washing, cutting, chopping, roasting (where required), and assembly
Ensure
taste consistency, portion control, and presentation quality
Customize salads based on customer preferences (add-ons, exclusions)
Menu & Recipe Discipline
Follow
standard recipes and build guides
Maintain consistency across batches and service times
Assist in refining recipes based on ingredient availability and seasonality
Hygiene & Food Safety
Maintain
high hygiene standards
across prep and service areas
Follow
food safety, storage, and cold-chain practices
Ensure proper labeling and FIFO (First In, First Out)
Inventory & Waste Control
Track daily ingredient usage
Minimize wastage through smart prep planning
Coordinate with procurement/farm team on produce quality and freshness
Presentation & Plating
Ensure salads are
visually appealing and neatly packed
Maintain consistency in bowl assembly and garnish
Support packaging for dine-in / takeaway / delivery formats
Required Skills & ExperienceMust-Have
1-3 years experience in:
Salad bars
Health food kitchens
Cafe kitchens
Cold kitchen operations
Strong understanding of:
Fresh produce handling
Salad bases, toppings, proteins, dressings
Ability to work fast
without compromising quality
Discipline in hygiene and cleanliness

Exposure to
