The Opportunity In this role you will manage and maintain the Safety&Security operation programs for both Bangalore and Pune offices within the Indian market, while providing guidance&support to all levels of the business locally and assisting with the execution of global safety and security strategy. Facilities at Nutanix Your Role Maintain safety and security protocols and guidelines for your markets\' locations to include (but not limited to) access control standards and policies, security officer operations and deployment, technical security solutions, safety and emergency preparedness protocols and training. Manage the local security teams and oversee the security program, including physical security, access control, and site risk assessments. Conduct and manage local investigations and incident response/management Ensure Nutanix remains abreast of industry trends and is continuously improving life safety and security processes and practices to mitigate associated risks Maintain strong ties with Local, State and Federal Government law enforcement officials to ensure Nutanix responds appropriately to events or crises\'. Provide support and advice to the Nutanix Events staff for meetings and events within the region for the purpose of protecting executives and attending employees. Track and advise on regional security developments and security incidents. Deliver life safety and security training to employees, contractors, and security staff Develop and sustain relationships with the Workplace, IT and other organisations to support the cross-functional delivery of security operations. Manage vendor relationships for Electronic Security and Security guarding services. What You Will Bring Certified Security and Risk Management Professional 5+ years\' experience in corporate safety&security and/or law enforcement, military experience. Excellent communication (verbal/written) skills Proficient in English Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organisation. Act as a Security and Safety advisor and consultant during and through critical matters. Experience CCTV and Security access control systems. Experience in conducting Risk Assessments. Experience managing and leading teams. Preference will be given to candidates with experience working in a combined physical security/business continuity environment where they played an active role in business continuity/crisis management planning and response Must be available during evenings and weekends to respond to and support unexpected emergencies and situations within the market and the APAC region.
