Position Summary

The Safety Trainer is responsible for delivering structured safety training programs for construction site manpower to ensure compliance with statutory safety requirements, reduce incidents, and promote a strong safety culture across all project locations.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct induction training for new joiners and contractors Deliver regular toolbox talks and job-specific safety training Train workers on: PPE usage Work at Height Scaffolding Safety Electrical Safety Fire Prevention & Emergency Response Confined Space Entry Lifting & Rigging Safety Maintain training records, attendance sheets, and evaluation reports Conduct mock drills and emergency preparedness programs Support site safety audits and inspections Identify unsafe practices and recommend corrective actions Coordinate with project and EHS teams for safety awareness campaigns Ensure compliance with Factory Act, BOCW Act, and applicable safety rules

Qualification & Experience

Diploma / Degree in Industrial Safety / Fire & Safety 1 to 3 years of experience in construction safety training Knowledge of statutory safety requirements (BOCW, IS, OSHA basics) Good communication skills in Hindi / Marathi / English preferred
