Job Summary

As a Safety Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and implementing safety protocols to ensure a secure work environment. You will play a crucial role in promoting and maintaining occupational health and safety standards within the organization.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement safety policies and procedures Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations Investigate accidents or incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions Provide safety training and education programs for employees Maintain records of safety-related incidents, training sessions, and inspections Collaborate with management to address safety concerns and improve overall safety performance

Skills

Proficient in training development related to occupational health and safety Knowledge of EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) regulations and standards Understanding of workers compensation law and procedures Ability to conduct root cause analysis for safety incidents Familiarity with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) guidelines Capability to fabricate effective safety protocols and procedures Certification in First Aid, CPR, or other relevant emergency response training is a plus
