- Safety Supervisor

Position Title:

Safety Supervisor

Department:

Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

Location:

Mumbai / Pan India

Experience Required:

2-5 Years (or as per requirement)

Qualification:

Diploma in Industrial Safety / Fire & Safety / HSE

B.Sc / B.Tech in any discipline with safety certification (e.g., NEBOSH/IOSH/OSHA preferred)

Salary Range:

?18,000 - ?30,000 per month (based on experience and certification)

Reporting To:

HSE Manager / Project Safety Head

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor compliance with Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) policies, company standards, and statutory safety regulations at site.

Conduct daily

toolbox talks

, safety briefings, and awareness programs for workers and staff.

Perform routine

site inspections

,

hazard identification

, and

risk assessments

; ensure all corrective actions are implemented.

Investigate accidents, near-miss incidents, and unsafe acts; submit detailed reports with

root cause analysis

and preventive measures.

Ensure proper use of

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

by all site personnel.

Deliver

safety induction

and job-specific safety training sessions for new and existing employees.

Maintain and update all safety documentation including:

o Site safety inspection reports

o Safety meeting records

o Training attendance sheets

o Incident logs and safety observation reports

Coordinate with

project managers, site engineers

, and department heads to implement safety practices.

Report site safety performance, issues, and improvements to the

HSE Manager

on a regular basis.

Take strict action on

non-compliance

with safety procedures and enforce disciplinary measures when needed.

Continuously monitor work activities and site conditions to

identify and eliminate hazards

.

Required Skills & Competencies:

Sound knowledge of construction safety practices, OSH standards, and local safety regulations.

Good observation, documentation, and reporting skills.

Ability to handle incident response and conduct safety drills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with workers and site teams.

Proficiency in MS Excel and report formatting (for safety logs & data).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
