Job Description

Responsibilities:

Safety Management:

Develop, implement, and maintain the company's safety policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with local, state, and national regulations.

Conduct regular site safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to safety protocols.

Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees and contractors.

Ensure the availability and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Maintain accurate safety records and prepare safety reports.

Participate in safety meetings and promote a strong safety culture across all project sites.

Quality Management:

Develop and implement quality assurance plans and procedures for construction projects.

Conduct regular quality inspections at various stages of construction to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.

Identify and document non-conformities and work with project teams to implement corrective actions.

Monitor the quality of materials and workmanship.

Maintain quality control records and prepare quality reports.

Collaborate with contractors and suppliers to ensure adherence to quality requirements.

Participate in quality audits and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Compliance and Documentation:

Ensure that all projects comply with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to safety and quality.

Assist in obtaining necessary permits and approvals.

Stay updated on changes in regulations and best practices related to safety and quality in the construction industry.

Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with project managers, site engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to promote safety and quality.

Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization on safety and quality matters.

Participate in project meetings and provide input on safety and quality aspects.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or related field) or equivalent.

3-5 years of relevant experience as a Safety and Quality Engineer in the real estate or construction industry.

Strong knowledge of construction safety regulations, quality assurance principles, and relevant Indian standards (e.g., BIS codes).

Familiarity with safety management systems (e.g., ISO 45001) and quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) is preferred.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to conduct site inspections and audits effectively.

Proficiency in MS Office Suite.

Relevant safety certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) and quality certifications (e.g., Six Sigma) will be an advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?50,000.00 per month
