Safety Supervisor

Job Description

- Implement and monitor safety programs, procedures, and guidelines at the site.
- Conduct daily toolbox talks and safety briefings with site teams.
- Ensure all workers use proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and follow safe work practices.
- Inspect job sites daily for unsafe conditions, equipment, and practices; report and rectify immediately.
- Monitor high-risk activities such as working at height, confined spaces, chemical handling, and hot works.
- Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and housekeeping checks.
- Maintain site safety records -- induction forms, inspection reports, incident/accident logs, and permits.
- Investigate and report all near-misses, incidents, or accidents; assist in corrective and preventive action plans.
- Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure full HSE compliance.
- Ensure all lifting, scaffolding, and electrical works are inspected and certified before use.
- Display safety signage, barricades, and ensure proper site access control.
- Provide safety induction and refresher training to new and existing site personnel.
- Support emergency preparedness by conducting mock drills and maintaining first-aid and firefighting equipment.
- Liaise with client safety officers and government inspectors during audits or inspections.
- Immediate joining: must be ready to join on short notice and be available at assigned sites.

Skills & Experience Required:


- Diploma / Degree in Engineering or Industrial Safety.
- Minimum 1-2years of experience in construction safety supervision, preferably in waterproofing, civil, or finishing works.
- Certified in Industrial Safety / NEBOSH / IOSH or equivalent preferred.
- Good knowledge of safety practices related to chemicals, waterproofing materials, scaffolding, confined spaces, and working at height.
- Strong understanding of local statutory safety requirements and reporting procedures.
- Good communication and leadership skills to ensure compliance among workers and subcontractors.
- Proficient in maintaining documentation and reporting (MS Excel, Word).
- Physically fit and able to perform on-site inspections daily.
- Must be willing to travel and work across multiple project sites if required.
- Immediate joiner preferred.

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?20,000.00 per month
