Job Title: Safety Supervisor - Solar Industry

Location: JAMNAGAR,GUJARAT

Department: Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

Reporting To: HSE Manager / Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Implement and monitor all site safety procedures and ensure compliance with statutory regulations. Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify potential hazards. Ensure all workers follow PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) guidelines. Conduct safety induction and training for new employees and subcontractors. Investigate and report all incidents, accidents, and near-misses with corrective actions. Maintain safety records, documentation, and reports as per company policy. Coordinate emergency preparedness and mock drills at site. Support the implementation of ISO 45001 and other relevant safety standards. Ensure proper signage, barricading, and housekeeping at the work site. Liaise with client representatives and local authorities on safety-related matters.

Qualifications and Experience:

Education: Diploma / B.Tech / BE in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical preferred). Experience: 2-5 years of experience as a Safety Supervisor in solar, power plant, or construction industry. Knowledge: Familiar with safety practices for electrical works, working at height, and hot work.
Key Skills:

Strong knowledge of HSE standards and regulations. Good communication and leadership skills. Ability to handle emergencies and make quick decisions. Proficient in MS Office and report preparation.

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ?25,000.87 - ?35,279.89 per month
