Job Description

Safety Compliance

: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations during all phases of ETP plant construction and manufacturing.

Risk Assessment

: Identify potential hazards in civil, mechanical, and electrical work areas; perform Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment (HIRA).

Site Supervision

: Monitor day-to-day site activities (civil foundations, structural works, piping, electrical installations) to ensure safe execution.

Permit System

: Implement and manage Permit to Work (PTW) system for high-risk activities (e.g., hot work, confined space entry, electrical isolation).

Training & Awareness

: Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and training sessions for workers and contractors.

Incident Investigation

: Report, investigate, and document near-misses, accidents, and unsafe conditions, and implement corrective/preventive measures.

Documentation

: Maintain safety records, inspection checklists, and compliance reports for audits and internal reviews.

PPE Management

: Ensure proper usage and availability of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for all site personnel.

Coordination

: Work closely with project managers, site engineers, and contractors to enforce safe practices across disciplines.

Key Skills:

Strong knowledge of

civil, mechanical, and electrical safety standards

. Experience with

ETP/STP/industrial plant construction

is highly desirable. Proficient in preparing and enforcing

Safety Management Plans

and

Emergency Response Plans

. Familiar with

OSHA, IS codes, NFPA, and local regulatory norms

.

Location: Raurkela, Odisha

Industry: Wastewater Treatment / ETP Plant Manufacturing

Experience: 05 years preferred

Qualification: Degree/Diploma in Engineering (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical) + Safety Certification (NEBOSH, IOSH, etc.)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?20,000.00 per month
