Post -Safety Officer

Salary - 30 k to 40 k Per Month

Location -Thane ,Mumbai

Experience -5 TO 8+ Years (preferred Candidates from Manufacturing)

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and enforce compliance with safety policies, procedures, and statutory regulations (Factories Act, OSHA standards, etc.).

Conduct routine safety inspections of machines, equipment, shop floors, and production areas.

Identify hazards, assess risks, and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Investigate accidents, incidents, and near miss events; prepare reports and recommend corrective measures.

Conduct safety induction and regular training programs for employees, contractors, and visitors.

Ensure proper use of PPE and maintain records of safety kits, logs, and audits.

Maintain and update safety documentation such as SOPs, MSDS, emergency response plans, and risk assessments.

Coordinate emergency preparedness drills (fire drill, evacuation drill).

Work closely with production, maintenance, and HR teams to promote a strong safety culture.

Support implementation of ISO standards (ISO 45001, ISO 14001) and safety audits.

Oversee waste management guidelines, hazardous materials handling, and environmental safety compliance.
