Job Description

Conduct risk assessments and safety audits on civil engineering projects (roads, bridges, buildings, infrastructure, etc.) Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and training programs in compliance with local and international safety standards. Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to safety regulations and best practices. Investigate incidents and near-misses; identify root causes and recommend corrective actions. Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and contractors to ensure safety standards are integrated into project planning and execution. Perform hazard identification and job safety analysis (JSA) for high-risk tasks. Ensure compliance with OSHA, ISO 45001, and other relevant health and safety legislation. Maintain documentation of safety inspections, accident reports, and safety training records. Support emergency response planning and drills. Recommend and manage personal protective equipment (PPE) use and safety signage at sites.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Safety Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. Certification in health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA,IOSH, CSP, or equivalent) is highly preferred. 3-5 years of relevant experience in civil construction or infrastructure projects. In-depth knowledge of health and safety laws, regulations, and best practices in civil engineering environments. Proficient in safety audit and inspection techniques. Strong communication and leadership skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in high-pressure environments.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
