Job Description

Capital Power Systems Ltd., a leading organization working in government power sector projects, is looking for a dedicated

Safety Officer

to ensure compliance with safety standards, support site operations, and promote a strong safety culture within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Implement and monitor

safety policies, procedures, and programs

at project sites. Conduct

site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments

. Ensure compliance with

government guidelines, regulatory requirements, and company standards

. Organize

toolbox talks, safety training, and awareness programs

for site teams. Investigate

accidents, incidents, and near-miss cases

; prepare reports and corrective action plans. Ensure proper usage of

PPE

, safety equipment, and adherence to safe work practices. Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and government safety personnel as needed. Maintain safety documentation, permits, records, and reports. Participate in

emergency drills

and support implementation of emergency response plans. Ensure compliance with

electrical safety protocols

, especially for utility and power sector environments.

Mandatory Qualification

RLI / CLI Diploma in Industrial Safety

(Candidates without this qualification will not be considered)

Preferred Skills & Experience

Experience in the

power sector / electrical utilities / government projects

. Strong understanding of

safety laws, regulations, and ISO standards

. Excellent communication and training skills. Ability to handle field/site safety activities independently. Knowledge of PPE management, site safety audits, and hazard identification.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
