Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a qualified and proactive Safety Officer to oversee health and safety aspects of our industrial flooring projects. The ideal candidate will ensure that all site activities are carried out safely, in compliance with statutory regulations, and in alignment with company safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

Site Safety Supervision:

Monitor daily worksite activities involving epoxy, PU, or concrete flooring applications to ensure safe practices are followed.

Risk Assessment:

Identify hazards specific to flooring work (chemical exposure, slips, trips, confined spaces, etc.) and conduct job hazard analyses (JHA).

Permit to Work (PTW):

Manage and review permits for hot work, confined space, and working at heights during flooring installations.

PPE Enforcement:

Ensure all workers are using appropriate PPE like gloves, safety goggles, masks/respirators (for chemical flooring), safety shoes, etc.

Chemical Safety:

Monitor the handling and storage of hazardous materials like resins, hardeners, and solvents used in flooring applications.

Training & Induction:

Conduct safety induction for new workers and toolbox talks focused on flooring-related hazards.

Accident & Incident Reporting:

Investigate any incidents, document findings, and implement corrective measures to prevent recurrence.

Compliance Monitoring:

Ensure all work complies with relevant safety standards (e.g., Factories Act, OSHA, DGFASLI norms).

Coordination with Supervisors:

Work closely with project managers and site engineers to integrate safety into the daily workflow.

Safety Documentation:

Maintain safety records, checklists, audit reports, and submit reports to management regularly.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
