We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced
Safety Officer
to join our team on a
contract basis
for a
construction project in Hyderabad,Telengana
. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring workplace safety, compliance with safety regulations, and implementing safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
Key Responsibilities:
Site safety monitoring and implementation of safety policies.
Conduct daily toolbox talks, safety inspections, and risk assessments.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and statutory regulations.
Investigate incidents/near-misses and prepare reports.
Coordinate with project & site teams to maintain a safe working environment.
Provide safety training to workers and subcontractors.
Strong knowledge of construction safety practices.
Good communication & reporting skills.
Ability to handle emergencies and enforce safety rules.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in construction safety
.
Bachelor's degree (B.Tech Preferred) & Post Diploma in Industrial & Safety.
Certification in safety management (NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA) is preferred.
Strong knowledge of construction site safety regulations.
Experience in conducting safety audits and accident investigations.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
