Job Description

We are currently hiring a qualified and experienced

Safety Officer

with a background in the

pharmaceutical industry

. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe and compliant working environment in accordance with regulatory and company standards, specifically within a GMP-regulated setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement and monitor EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) policies tailored to pharmaceutical operations. Conduct routine audits, risk assessments, and safety inspections in GMP environments. Provide safety training specific to chemical handling, cleanroom protocols, and controlled environments. Ensure compliance with OSHA, local safety laws, and pharmaceutical industry standards. Investigate and document safety incidents; implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Production departments on safety-related matters.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field. Certification in NEBOSH / OSHA / IOSH (preferred). Minimum 1 years of safety experience in a

pharmaceutical manufacturing or R&D environment

. Strong knowledge of GMP, hazardous materials handling, and regulatory compliance. Excellent communication and training skills.

Pay: ?250,000.00 - ?400,000.00 per year
